The mission of First Children’s Finance (FCF) is to grow the supply and business sustainability of excellent child care. Founded in 1991, FCF provides business and financial assistance to business owners and leaders in the field of Early Care and Education (ECE). To achieve our goals, FCF works on three levels: Individual Business Level, Community Level and Systems Level. FCF is a national nonprofit organization headquartered in Minneapolis that provides business development programs and/or financing to ECE providers in multiple states, with regional offices in five: Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Vermont and Oregon. Job Summary

FCF is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to help organize, analyze, and improve Salesforce CRM data. The Salesforce administrator will need to acquire a deep understanding of multiple business processes across the organization to better support and optimize the Salesforce system.  Specifically, this position will assist with ongoing management of FCF data throughout its data lifecycle including business administration, data management via import/export, data transformation using lightning experience reports & dashboards, and finally data archiving and protection.

The Salesforce Administrator will serve as an integral part of the FCF central office operations team supporting and collaborating with all nine business units across the organization.  Working with a variety of staff at all levels of technology literacy will be a key component of this position.

 

This is a hybrid position in our central office in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

Essential Functions

  • Provide day-to-day support of Salesforce, including user administration, system configuration, report, and dashboard design; as well as delivery of training, configuration, maintenance, and support required to ensure information is effectively used in decision-making and operations.
  • Support and document business rules/requirements for new and existing applications (Form Assembly, MS365, Instrumental, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) and assisting in the development process including business process support.
  • Salesforce CRM Management: Administer and configure Salesforce or related platforms, including automating processes using out-of-the-box tools.
  • System Administration: Provide support and maintenance for internal environments, including customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and Flows.
  • User Management: Manage user access and permissions, including granting access and access removal as required.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems in Salesforce, escalating and tracking issues appropriately.
  • Data Management: Standardize, cleanse, and upload external data into the Salesforce platform to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Declarative Development (page layouts, fields, views, validation rules, formula fields, FLOWS and advanced functions specific to the platform).
  • Translates business and technical requirements into designs that satisfy the business needs and comply with approved standards and best practices.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and training materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business or public administration or equivalent.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required and up to date.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven history of responsibility and follow-through in resolving technical issues.
  • Strong understanding of the customary Salesforce data architecture and data relationship capabilities and limitations.
  • An aptitude for using Salesforce to provide creative solutions to business challenges and opportunities.
  • Data cleaning experience in SQL, R, and/or Microsoft Excel.
  • Open-minded, inclusive, and welcoming to all colleagues, clients, and others.
  • Practical experience with project delivery and systems development life cycles.

Preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce for nonprofits
  • Form Assembly Administration & Maintenance experience
  • Social service or nonprofit analytics experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Fast and accurate data cleaning skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to the mission of FCF
