FCF Presents to ELEVATE conference

The First Children’s Finance National Team was invited to present a session for the 2021 Nebraska ELEVATE conference which will be available for viewing for registered ELEVATE participants on June 5, 2021.

FCF’s session, titled Show Me the Money, highlights the forms of financial resources (also known as “financial capital”) available to child care businesses of all types in Nebraska. The overview recording will include information on regional and local banks, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Small Business Administration opportunities, economic development initiatives, grants, and COVID-19 stimulus and stabilization funding.

First Children’s Finance’s goal for this session is to empower child care businesses in Nebraska with information about the financial support available to them so that they can determine which forms of support are the right fit for their business. This session will give child care business owners and managers a foundational understanding of the financial resources available in Nebraska.
