First Children’s Finance Opens Round 7 of the Minnesota Revitalization Grant May 12

We are pleased to announce that Round 7 of the Minnesota Revitalization Grant opens at 9:00 a.m. on Friday May 12, 2023, Provider Appreciation Day and closes on Friday May 19, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

1,519 child care providers have been awarded $14,506,199 for the first 6 rounds. For the remainder of calendar year of 2023, the State of Minnesota’s Department of Human Services has added $10 million to distribute to child care providers across the State of Minnesota, making this a great round to apply for the Minnesota Facility Revitalization Grant. This program comes from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is set to end in June of 2024. There will be two more applications rounds scheduled in late summer and the fall of 2023 with exact dates to be determined.
