Business & Financial Fundamentals© for 2022 Fall Schedule Now Available

Calling all Iowa child care businesses!

First Children’s Finance has opened registration for the Business & Financial Fundamentals© program. The Business and Financial Fundamentals series is open to child care center directors and family child care home entrepreneurs, and is available in a variety of locations across Iowa over the next year.

Business & Financial Fundamentals© is a comprehensive approach that helps child care entrepreneurs understand foundational business and finance concepts. As these concepts are demystified, participants implement practices necessary to operate a sustainable child care business.

Participants receive 8 modules of business training in a series designed for center directors or for home providers. Participants know how to implement strong business practices, and have access to practical tools and resources to guide their business decisions.  Following the training, participants have free access to get questions answered by our Business Development Specialists. Finally, in-depth individual coaching is available for free to interested participants completing a series.

Business & Financial Fundamentals© training, technical assistance, and coaching are free for child care directors and homes due to generous support from the Iowa Department of Human Services.
